The roots of Cuban Dance reach far back to the times of Estas Tonne’s first encounters with world music as a guitar student of Sergey Borisovich Sherbak. Fast-forward to 2002, the composition was initially a part of the first album “Black and White World” recorded in New York City, where Estas and Michael Shulman were performing on the streets and creating variations and improvisations based on this timeless melody. Now revamped Cuban Dance II. offers a fresh sound to the fascinating life journey, while honouring all the steps that brought us here.
